Ilinx is a dynamic Seattle-based wind quintet founded by flutist Peyton Ray. Rooted in curiosity and creativity, Ilinx is dedicated to expanding the possibilities of chamber music by performing a wide range of repertoire—from classical cornerstones to genre-bending contemporary works and original arrangements. The ensemble embraces community-forward performances, collaborating with local and international composers to bring fresh perspectives to the wind quintet medium.

Ilinx is passionate about making chamber music accessible and engaging, especially for younger and non-traditional audiences. Whether performing in concert halls, interactive school programs, or intimate community settings, the members of Ilinx seek to spark conversation, curiosity, and connection through music. United by a shared belief that chamber music is a living art form, the quintet blends technical mastery with expressive storytelling, inviting listeners to experience the joys of collaboration, exploration, and sonic adventure.
