My studio is open and I offer lessons around Seattle and Bellevue. Lessons are available in person or online, open to everyone, regardless of age or skill. If you are interested, please reach out to set up a trial!

In lessons:

Teaching Philosophy 

My goal as a flute teacher is to nurture not just skilled musicians, but confident, creative, and curious individuals. I believe every student has a unique musical. Through personalized, compassionate instruction, I help my students build strong foundations in tone, technique, music theory, and artistry, while also developing the confidence to express themselves through their instrument.

Lessons are tailored to each student's goals and interests. I like to prioritize a balance between structure and exploration in my studio. While fundamentals such as tone, finger technique, and musicality are essential, I also encourage students to connect emotionally and intellectually with the music they play. Ultimately, I aim to create a supportive, inspiring learning environment where students can take risks, ask questions, and grow not only as flutists but as thoughtful musicians and kind people!
